Limpopo e-Recruitment: applying online

Many Limpopo government posts are applied for online, through the Limpopo Provincial Government's e-Recruitment system. This page explains how that works and which open posts use it.

Open the official portal: erecruitment.limpopo.gov.za

GovPosts is not the portal and is not part of government. You cannot apply here: applications go to the portal, or to the department, exactly as each advert says.

What the portal is

It is the province's own online application system. The departments that use it say so in their adverts in the DPSA Public Service Vacancy Circular, in words like these:

"Applicants should apply through the following website https://erecruitment.limpopo.gov.za" — Circulars 31 and 32 of 2026
"The application on the eRecruitment system should be accompanied by the new Z83 and recent comprehensive CV (previous experience must be comprehensively detailed, i.e. positions held and duration/dates)." — Circular 32 of 2026

The address above is the one the circular prints. If a link sent to you by anyone else looks different, use the one in the advert instead; no government post ever charges a fee.

How applying through it works

  1. Find the post first, in the circular or on this site, and note its reference number and closing date.
  2. Register on the portal and complete your profile. The portal's own instructions govern every step.
  3. Attach what the advert asks for. The new Z83 and a recent, comprehensive CV that gives the positions you held and their dates. Some Limpopo departments also still accept hand-delivered or posted applications: the advert says so where they do.
  4. Submit before the closing date, and keep any confirmation the system gives you.

Not every Limpopo department applies online only. Read the APPLICATIONS line of each advert: it names the channel, and an application sent another way may not be considered.
